Starting Over

Hello everybody,
I hope you're having a great day!
This is a new start for my blog, because of that I want to talk to you about starting over again.

Sometimes you feel like having a brand new start, it's a feeling that doesn't go away unless something's done about it. It can be a big change or just something small. For me, starting over always comes together with a turning point, like going to university.
There are a few different ideas I want to share with you to help you get a fresh start.

1. Give your room a makeover
Make sure you have two parts in your room, the first part should be where you work, the second one where you relax. First of all, place your desk close to a window, so you can get a lot of natural light. Also your desk is the place where you work, so it needs to be organized, clean and with enough space.
On my desk I have a place for my laptop, diary, books, photos, pencil case and some notepads. That's really all I need.
Next, put everything that distracts you away. It'll help you work harder and more.
Your working place should give you the energy to work hard every single day.

2. Throw things away
Holding onto your past isn't something I'd recommend. You can't get your past back, and well, sometimes you'd rather forget about what happened once upon a time. Therefore throw things away, so that new things can come in its place.
Life is about making memories, but over all about living now and making plans for the future. Don't let the past stand in the way of making new memories and plans.

3. Clean out your wardrobe
Go over everything you have and only keep the pieces you love and suit your style.
It's unnecessary to fill your closet with clothes you never wear and don't even like.
Because, if you do so, you can go shopping again and buy more clothes, to fill those empty places in your closet.

4. Do what you want and like
It's no use studying something you don't like or working where you don't want to work. You'll feel unhappy each and every day. You deserve to do what you like to do, and this might involve a lot of work, but it'll be worth it for sure.

Starting over isn't something you have to do because other people say so. It's because you feel like you deserve a new start, because you feel like you're finally able to let go off the past and build a new life.
It isn't something easy to do, so do it when you're ready, don't force yourself.
Good luck and enjoy a new start (if you need one of course).

Maxi Dress

Hello everybody!
A while ago I bought my first ever maxi dress. In my opinion, it's extremely chique, so I don't know where to wear it to just yet.

As you can see here, the skirt is see through for the biggest part. I love the deep red colour combined with the black. It really makes you feel like a million bucks, while it was only 15 euros or something like that.

The top part is made of black lace.

In my opinion, dark red and soft pink go perfectly together. It's a very feminine combination.

I love these bracelets. I have about three of them. A lot of people have asked me if having a bracelet that goes from your wrist up till your finger, isn't annoying. I have to say that I don't even feel it anymore. I'm used to wearing jewellery and therefore I can wear quite a lot of pieces without feeling uncomfortable.

I hope you enjoyed this post.
Talk to you later!

Sunny Antwerp

Hello everybody!
I hope you had a great weekend.
A while ago I went to Antwerp with a good friend of mine.
That day was one of the first sunny ones.

I got this sweater in a sale, it only cost me about 10 euros, I think.
It's a bit see through, but still classy.

We noticed that our shadows were really dark and thought it'd be fun to take a picture of it.

It is nice to stand in an old building and look out to the modern world.
It really makes you think about everything that has changed.

Here you can see the details of the sweater. It's a simple cut, the pattern is what caught my eye. I bought it wondering if it wouldn't be too sheer, but it actually turned out classy with a hint of sexy.

Thank you so much for reading!
Talk to you later.
